Witch is NOT a bad word or a bad thing, and I use this
title very proudly and very sacredly. One of my main objectives is to
break through the negative stigma associated with being a Witch.
I have been a self-initiated, solitary eclectic Witch and follower of
the Wiccan religion for over 10 years. Much of my knowledge and skills
have been attained and developed by my own practice, applications and
relationship with the Divine as well as studying the works of well known
Witches and Magicians through their writings, workshops, videos, tapes,
gatherings, and personal meetings, including Silver RavenWolf, Dorothy
Morrison, Phyllis Curott, Raymond Buckland, Scott Cunningham, Chris
Penzack, Carl McColman, Trish Telesco, Raven Grimassi, Diane Stein,
Starhawk, Rev. Susan Davis, Gavin Bone, Janet and Stewart Farrar, Gavin
and Yvonne Frost, Fiona Horne, Gerina Dunwitch, Taylor Ellwood, and
many others.
I am a member of the Sisters of the Burning Branch goddess school working through 4 levels of curriculum to become a High Priestess, which will be followed by the creation of my own tradition, the Brockenberg Tradition . I am also a minister with the Universal Life Church.
Being eclectic,
I do not currently follow a specific tradition. However, I create altars,
sacred space (circle casting), meditate, and study/apply correspondences
to spell work using the elements, colors, crystals, candles, herbs,
oils, astrology, specific deities, etc. Much of my Craft is done with
poppets or collage magick, depending on the intent and results needed.
I also create and use magickal boxes for prayers or manifestations.
My divination work includes the Tarot and pendulum, and I am currently
working on dream interpretation.
My professional
education and experience is in media relations as a journalist and special
correspondent, marketing, communications, public relations, public speaking,
special event planning and execution, non-profit fund raising, grant
research and writing. I am a full-time special event manager and provide
fund raising and grant writing consulting services for non-profit, human
service and faith-based organizations.
My hobbies include making my own candles, soaps and other crafts; growing
herbs; reading; writing; interior decorating, exploring haunted places,
spirit/ghost cleansings, horror movies, and horseback riding.
I'm a Capricorn
in every sense of the meaning, partnered with a much younger man (I
highly recommend younger men), and guardian to a devoted Lassa Apsa
named Oreo, Ori for short. I have chosen not to have children because
I believe that women can give birth to many things. I am and continue
to be a cancer survivor.I believe that the Universe is abundant and
full of possibilities. Magickal living is my daily ritual.
